its weird society sees people with tattoos and modifications as being unclean and poor when in reality its so expensive to get those things in the first place and the aftercare is strenuous and daily and in reality modified people are probably the most hygienic and well off people you’ll meet

"The world’s 85 richest people have as much wealth as the world’s 3.5 billion poorest."

- This statistic was recently released in United Nations report that uses Oxfam figures. It’s also a huge wake-up call for anyone who doesn’t consider income inequality a major issue in global politics. (via micdotcom)

I think one of the best feelings in the world is when someone remembers something you said. Whether it was something from yesterday, a week ago, a month ago.. It’s just like, “Wow, you actually listen to me.”

Turn Up: Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang

Yesterday, powerhouses Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj released the audio for their collaboration “Bang Bang.”

The song has been teased for awhile. In an interview we posted earlier this month, Savan Kotecha, mentioned the collaboration and the Moulin Rouge/Lady Marmalade vibe he was going for. The lady combine in a tour-de-force, triumvirate— three powerhouse vocalists whose harmonies are just as sick as their solos.

What I love about the song is how, like Moulin Rouge, it drips in modern day nostalgia. The back beat reminds you of 1960s go-go soul, there’s a vibe of Lauryn Hill’s Miseducation but it fully embraces our current era of pop-rap. What emerges is a head-bopping-bad-ass-bitches anthem.
